Kelli Nasonti earned eight varsity letters before graduating from Bellevue High School (BHS) in 2004, including one in volleyball, three in basketball, and four in softball.
During her 2001-02 sophomore season in basketball, Kelli was named Honorable Mention All-NOL. The following season, she landed Second Team honors while also being named Second Team District 6 by the Coaches Association and Honorable Mention All-NW Ohio.
As a senior co-captain for the Lady Red, Kelli was named MVP, First Team All-NOL and District 6, and Honorable Mention All-NW Ohio. Her teams went a combined 39-8 during her junior and senior seasons. The squad earned NOL champion status in 2003, was Regional Runner-Up in 2003 and District Runner-Up in 2004.
Kelli averaged 15 points per game during her senior season, scored 346 points, shot 61.8 percent from the floor (second all-time at BHS), hauled down 210 rebounds (10th all-time) and blocked 81 shots (second all-time). For her career, she had 753 points, 558 rebounds and 169 blocked shots.
While earning four varsity letters in softball, Kelli was Honorable Mention All-NOL as a sophomore, then went on to be First Team All-NOL her junior and senior seasons. She was also First Team All-NW District those two years and Second Team All-Ohio as a senior.
She was also captain her junior and senior seasons and played on back-to-back NOL championship teams as a starting pitcher. She was MVP both years and won 14 games as a junior and 16 the following year. She also struck out 130 batters and finished with an ERA of 0.93 while batting .362 with 21 RBI.
For her efforts, she was named the 2004 Female Gazette Award Winner and the 2004 Fremont News-Messenger Athlete of the Year.
Kelli is currently employed at Johnson & Johnson Mitek Sports Medicine and resides in Valley Village, California.
