2025 Inductee Carly Santoro-Antle, 2015
Carly Santoro-Antle (née Santoro) proved to be one of the best all-around female athletes to represent Bellevue High School during her time from 2012–2015. She graduated with nine varsity letters—one in tennis, four in basketball, and four in softball. She was also a two-time winner of the Bellevue Gazette Award as BHS’s top female athlete in 2014 and 2015.
Carly played one season of tennis during her sophomore year, earning team MVP and second-team all-league honors at first singles.
She earned four letters in softball and could have easily pursued the sport in college. She was All-Northern Ohio League first team as a freshman, junior, and senior (injured during her sophomore season). She earned All-District first team and All-Ohio second team honors in three seasons. She led the NOL in home runs and RBIs as a freshman, and in home runs and batting average as both a junior and senior. The Lady Red won the NOL in both 2014 and 2015.
Basketball, however, became the sport most associated with Carly. She led the team with 438 points as a freshman, followed by 562 as a sophomore, 601 as a junior, and 786 during her senior season. She became the first male or female player at BHS to score over 2,000 career points (2,387), a school record that still stands.
She was All-NOL, All-District 6, and All-Northwest District all four years, as well as a four-time All-Ohio honoree. She was team MVP her senior year and led BHS to Regional runner-up finishes in both 2013 and 2014.
Carly went on to play basketball at Bowling Green State University, starting for three seasons and leading the team in scoring as a sophomore and junior. She was team MVP both years. She then transferred to The Ohio State University for her senior season of eligibility, where she was team captain and led the Buckeyes with 238 points. Over her college career, she surpassed 1,000 points.
Carly and her husband, Chase, reside in Grove City, OH. She is an intervention specialist and head girls’ basketball coach at Dublin Coffman High School.
