Dean Frisch & Jake Schnee
Dean Frisch, a 2003 graduate of Bellevue High School, has been a dedicated and deeply valued member of the Bellevue Redmen football family for more than two decades. The son of Mary Louise and the late Dean Allen Frisch, Dean grew up with a strong sense of loyalty, humility, and pride—values he would carry with him throughout his long-standing service to the Redmen program. He shares his family's close-knit bond with his sister, Kelly Louise Bearden.
Dean’s journey with the team began in the fall of 2000, when he joined the Redmen as a student manager. What started as a supportive role quickly evolved into a passion and lifelong calling. Now, 25 years later, Dean has become a cornerstone of Bellevue football—always present on the sidelines, offering steady commitment, behind-the-scenes excellence, and unmatched dedication to the players, coaches, and tradition of the red and white.
Over the years, Dean has been part of some of the most successful seasons in Redmen history. He has contributed to seven championship campaigns, including five Northern Ohio League titles (2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, and 2015), and two Sandusky Bay Conference titles (2020 and 2021). His presence was felt in 26 playoff games, including the 2001 Regional Championship and the thrilling Final Four run that ended with a State runner-up finish in 2012.
Among countless unforgettable moments, one game stands out in Dean’s memory: the Redmen’s resounding 66–22 victory over archrival Clyde in 2016. For Dean, the joy isn’t just in the wins—it's in being part of something bigger than himself. His enduring presence has inspired generations of athletes, coaches, and fans alike.
Dean Frisch’s name may not appear on the stat sheet, but his legacy is written all over the Redmen program. Quietly devoted, unshakably loyal, and endlessly dependable, Dean is the very definition of what it means to be Big Red.
